Pouring Your Heart Out

Pouring Your Heart Out

Acrylic pouring recipe.
For this huge, 50cm round flip cup pour, I used 70% glue and 30% water as my pouring medium. I then used 50% of this pouring medium to 50% of my Global impasto paint. If you are using thicker paints like Liquitex Basics, you will need to use 1 1/2 parts PM to 1 part paint and if you are using thinner paints, you will need to add more paint to get your mix to the correct consistency.

I think the reason why I love these pours so much is because I enjoy the result immensely... It's almost like I'm looking either into outer space, or if you think about the other end of the spectrum, Inner Space... like at a cellular level. Just like people who are into photography, you have macrophotographers and micro. I can't make up my mind which one you're round canvas looks like. That's the beauty of it. Your mind can wander while you look at it. Well done, I totally enjoyed it and I can't wait to try it one day.💗🎨🖼

I liked the dark. You worked it so much trying to get rid of most of it, that it got a little muddy looking, as opposed to black. Even so, I thought it was very pretty until I saw it dry. Then it was REALLY pretty. I reran the video several times just to see the finished piece. Recently I have looked at a couple of other pour sites, and I want you to know, you are the bomb.

About the time I've scrolled down here to comment, I see 4 more videos I want to watch! LOL! Anyway, I would love to have you show us at the beginning and at the end, your finished work displayed against a clean white or black background, so the amazing colors and patterns are not diminished by the cluttered background/surroundings. I don't know much about KZbin, but when I share your videos, it would be great for people on Facebook to see the finished work, as I do when I click on the small initial image that catches my eye as I scroll. It is gorgeous. Please don't be so critical. I agree with, "Save the Darks", as Bob Ross taught. You've got plenty of gold. Strive not to over fiddle, over control & over analise the process. This technique is for reducing control, so don't be afraid to allow the natural beauty of the flow technique to come through. It is gorgious, leave it at that.

This piece was stunning at EVERY stage. My personal preference was that it was perfect at 17:15 , before some of the darks were poured off. I am guilty of playing too much with my paint so I get it when an artist does the same. We are more highly critical of ourselves than others are. Thank-you, I enjoy your video's and your work is amazing!!

I have had this on my "watch later" for a few weeks, I knew I really wanted to be able to concentrate on it. So glad I did! Being fairly new to your channel and paint pouring, I can only comment from this perspective. This is THE MOST GLORIOUS pour, of yours, that I have seen (to date). Oh, the whole experience of watching with the suspense and thrill of seeing it develop ~ truly wonderful! It was fab that you did it slowly and checked it at intervals. Yes, I did say "Stop!" a few times, lol. But only because I was with you throughout, willing it to turn out. And it sure did! The finished piece was actually closer to your tester too. You must have been very pleased..... Now of course, I want to see it as a clock. I've made clocks within my mixed media techniques and so to do one with a pour then resin coat it ~ that's the dream. I am million miles away from that right now. However, it is great to have aspirations, isn't it? Absolutely beautiful job! Ty as always for sharing! C⏳🕜💫🐾
