What mods are required to run 315/30 in the front? Thinking about going square too.

Nice meeting you at T-hill! I was the other beard there, with the blue Giulia. Had to come check out the channel. That's a Lotta tire you got on that car! Hope to see you at the next one and in the 55's!

Great meeting you also! Definitely can’t wait for some cooler days to set some PB’s with the new setup.

I'm so torn; been eyeing the VS-5RS since launch and can't decide between an 18 square setup or 19s. Can't wait to hear your thoughts though on this setup after a track day

18’s for track. They worked great no rubbing and Surprisingly. And the car balance felt so much better in the front end with the square set up

I’m dealing with the same issue with my f80. Lots of understeer and over working my front tires. I want to move to a square setup, but I’m still not 100% sure of what size tires. It’s so hard with certain tires only available in certain sizes. And then those tires being in stock or constantly back ordered. Really looking forward to hearing how this square setup works for you. Also can I ask what setting you are running on your mcs suspension for front and rear compression and rebound? Thanks

I think the under steer is because of the factory alignment, cars are usually aligned towards under steer since most drivers can’t control oversteer to make it safer

15mm

But a custom 15.5mm or 16mm would be better.

What a great wheel. Shame we get ripped off in the UK. Basically £4000 or $4800 dollars!

About to order some Ec-7's. How much chamber where you running front & rear on your set if you don't mind me asking. Was planning on going 18x10 ET25 front & 18x11 ET44 rear with a 285/30/18 front & 315/30/18 rear. Currently on swift springs, Oem dampers, & Millway chamber plates, praying I can get this to fit without rubbing

Yo use my link 👍🏻🏁🏁🏁 -3 front. That will 100% fit without mods may just need a front spacer. Also the rears I use a 12mm spacer but I don’t think it’s necessary just looks better.
@BlakesGarage2 жыл бұрын
Also it does all depend on the tire manufacture since just because it’s the same numerical value doesn’t mean it’s the same actual size. But the Nanking AR1 is definitely a fit

@@BlakesGarage What's your camber at the rear with 315/30/18 and 12 mm spacer?

Would 315s fit the rear without spacers? I have an m4 that I would like to run 315s if possible.
@BlakesGarage2 жыл бұрын
Yeah 100% it can just looks better with a 12mm spacer
@donttrip28062 жыл бұрын
Oh that’s cool I had heard that you couldn’t fit them in the rear without some work being done to make them fit ! Thanks
