Great video!! I like your narration. Clear, simple and well paced. I have always thought that SS316L is for high heat applications such as for storage tanks for hot chemicals where the low carbon of the material permits expansion and contraction without stress cracking the welds.

Well narrated. Suggestion: show tables that compare grades. Rattling off PSI values for 316 alone is only meaningful to people who already have an encyclopedic knowledge of these numbers. Are such people going to watch this video?

Is 316 SS ideal to use in outdoor environment? I want to use it as car door side molding instead of chrome-plated ABS but don't want it to rust down the road to ruin the door panel.
