Fantastic synth patches! I was looking for some new patches. These are probably the best d-05 patches I've heard so far. I wanted to program my own for the D-05 but not a fan of the menu diving. I got the editor so hopefully I'll be able to make some eventually. These are a great Inspiration... The Demo is super nice! Love the sounds and the fact there are no external effect used is impressive!

Hi firstly thanks for the 32 patch set its great the jarre is perfect for oxygene 4 ok ive just downloaded legowelts 64 patch on to my d05 and its overwritten your 32 i did the correct function power up thing and all good so i opened the patch folder and tried to recopy and paste your sounds into restore folder u7 as u8 holds legiwelts now i noticed u7 is full of files such as pcm1 2 3 etc when i reset my d05 and tried it legowelts were still there but u7 where i put yours are now just all empty tones it displays u7 init I hope you understand this long text and can help me please as i want your 32 on as well as legiwelts thanks in advance

I had already loaded these into bank 8 where they went automatically. I wanted to load the free legowelt patches too and that was in a sub folder called U8. I just changed the name of that to U7 when I copied it and thus avoided going over Paul's wonderful sounds. Got to work out how to do individual sounds to fill in the banks now.

These are really good. A fantastic addition to my new D-05, which benefits from sounds like this. I would love to have more, the sounds for Are Friends Electric? and Cars plus some other synth pop (Depeche Mode, Yazoo) and Electro (Mantronix, Soulsonic Force) type sounds :)

hi thanks so much, i have a question. what if i already have presets added that also went to bank 8 ( the legowelt ones) ? i guess it will copy over them ? so probably have to copy them somewhere else first or something. these are great sounds hope i can get them on there alongside legowelts trippy sounds : )

You can rename the U8 folder (in PATCH) to U7 before copying PATCH over in the D-05 RESTORE folder. You will find the patches in U7 and the Legowelt ones in U8.

Wow, your sounds make me want to buy the Roland D05. I was pretty sceptical at first, because of the over used presets on many late 80's albums. Is it easy to upload your patches on the D05?

These sounds are very impressive ! I have a D50 which I have had from new bought in 1990 . Such a great synth ! Unfortunately I downloaded the zip file (sysex) - and tried to open it using the D50 Librarian software but it would not open - it just displayed error message data 1 . I have had this problem a few times when opening the sysex files but 99% of the time there is no problem . If you can suggest a solution - that would be great - thanks : -)

AllanFC23 I have no idea why it’s not working via the D50 librarian, all I can suggest is try MidiOX (free software) to send the sysex via a PC (you’ll need a midi interface somewhere coming from your computer)

The sysex in the zip DOES open with D50 Librarian (I have just done it). My librarian version is latest (v1.0.23.0) on Windows 10. Loads 4 banks of patches correctly.
