they aren't going to release a bigger imac. That's what the mac studio is for. Can you imagine how much theyll charge for a 32inch m4 ultra? It'll mac the old imac pros blush. Much better to invest in a mac display separate and get a studio or mini. There's no advantages to imacs anymore.

I just got my new orange M4 iMac on Tuesday, to replace my mid-2017-build 21.5" Retina 4K iMac...so the specs for the iMac Pro would have to be really compelling for me to upgrade so soon...that said, I do want to get the new iPhone SE when it comes out, to replace an iPhone 7 that is my backup phone. I'm keeping my iPhone 13 mini as my primary phone...and will get the battery replaced most likely in the spring...really wish Apple would offer a "mini" model for their phones...those of us with smaller hands really like it!

Geez, I just replaced my 2015 iMac i5 quad with the M4 Mini pro 64Gb - 4TB SSD. Too late and waited 9 years and needed the OS update from Big Sur.

I have been waiting years to replace my 27" intel iMac. I am sure the engineers, marketing and bean counters would argue that it isn't needed as it doesn't offer anything that the customer couldn't already achieve. However, Steve.J would have understood the apple customers and instinctively known that this is a gap in their product line worth closing.

How about M4 Ultra iMac Pro? I would buy an an iMac Max Pro tomorrow. Actually I would prefer another 27”. I use a 32 inch on a PC work station and find it hard on the neck looking at the corners of the display. I do a lot of pixel level editing or close to it. My 2019 iMac Pro needs updating. Come on Apple quit kicking us users in the nuts.

As an owner of a 2017 iMac Pro (with an AMD eGPU,) the iMac has served me well. But since the Studio (and upgraded Mac Mini) is now available, I doubt I would ever buy another iMac. (Full disclosure- I have 3 external monitors I use with the iMac)

I am considering buying a Mac mini Pro as I have recently bought the infinity S9 5K monitor way cheaper than the studiodisplay which is now connected to my 16 inch M1 Pro. Recently I have experienced situations where I have had to close apps to free up memory I would thus increase the memory of a Mac mini Pro to at least 48GB. I would however be interested in a bigger iMac Pro, if it has the MiniLED you are talking about, as It will give me screen quality comparable to the quality of 16 inch. I will need a bigger desk though should that model be released.

I am not convinced that Apple needs a new iMac pro in the lineup. When the original released, the Garbage Can pro had proven to be a failure and Apple had stopped updating it. A new Mac Pro was not yet on the horizon so there was a big gap in the Mac lineup for the "pro" user. Today, we have a Mac Pro, multiple Mac Studios that are insanely powerful and heck even the Mac Mini is now a high power contender. An iMac pro would just dilute that lineup. Well, that's my take, anyway.

I would buy a 32 inch iMac as long as it can run games, yeah yeah Macs aren't made for gaming, why not, it's got the specs. The day Apple turns iMacs into gaming capable machines, it's goodbye Nvidia and AMD GPUS.😂 Min specs gaming iMac, 8 core M4 fast all performance cores, min 40 GPU cores, next step up, 10 to 12 all performance CPU cores and 60 GPU cores. 120hrz pro motion display.
