I like your video. Congratulations for your nice work! Something important to know: It is possible to send e-mail using Google or Yahoo address or only to internal e-mail address? I saw in your video SMTP. That means for me, simple mail transfer protocol. Google, Yahoo and others don't accept that kind of e-mail. Please, give us more info about that important aspect..

I am happy that you read my question. Please, can you share with us settings for LOGO v8.4 to use google mail or yahoo mail to send e-mail notification at event? I have a v8.4 on my desk but I am stuck. I cannot send e-mail using google account or yahoo account. I am not the only one that is interested on this feature.

I tried everything and it seams that I can't send email with the logo using Gmail, hotmail, videotron, zohomail. Anyone know ls what email service will work with Logo?

Dear friend, I did not see any update in your video or an answer to my question about sending e-mail using Google or Yahoo mail services. I tried by myself to find an answer in Siemens support forum. The answer provided is not useful. I tested on my desk several times... I propose you to join our forces and to ask for a clear and detailed video from manufacturer. Let me know if you agree.

Hi Toma. I talked wo someone on Linkedin on the same topic and I assumed it's you. It seems you are not the only one who is trying to use Gmail. This is a challenge with Google not LOGO. It seems for a higher security standard, Google requires you to use an “App Password“ not your account password. My Gmail has two factor authentication on and I have to apply a series of changes to my account to test this. So please do some research on Gmail SMTP and try in on LOGO. You may use the "verify SMTP setting" when setting up your Email address in LOGO to make sure your configuration is correct.

Hi, The SMTP setting depends on the email address you are using. Just search for the SMTP setting on your email provider website.
