Ever since they were revealed to be in Side Order they haven’t been referred to with any pronouns in tweets or official Side Order material. (They are also not referred to with pronouns in the interview either!) Splatoon localization has many problems but Acht’s pronouns aren’t one of them. Their use of she/her has been essentially retconned. I see this thrown around as localization messing up a lot- and that’s understandable as Splatoon localization isn’t the most reliable at times- however that that isn’t the case this time.

Therefore we can conclude that Acht is female, and as such, referring to her with 'she' is correct. It says that agent four was going to be promoted as the guard of the memverse, but smollusk made agent four a guard of order, meaning agent four is an enemy you encounter. The only enemy that looked like agent four is parallel cannon's leader. Meaning yes, it is a copy of agent four.

Well concept art is just that - concepts. They’re meant to invoke a feeling over solid ideas, which is why so much of it was changed or scrapped. It’s pretty normal when anything is being made, since it can be harder to invoke some emotions or ideas in a video game than in a single art piece.

@@GreenNinj4 the thing is, we don’t know what the early concepts even were, so any “good” ideas are just speculation on our part. How do you know the early concepts were good, aside from your own assumptions based on the art? We don’t even know if that concept art was actually used in development, or if it was just used to make the trailer more interesting. Even if the early ideas were “good”, it might not have been possible to implement with their development schedule, budget, or demands from higher ups. So many factors go into making a game, and concept art is always completely different from the final game because it’s exploratory - figuring out which ideas are good and can fit into their game before implementing them. Besides, I would argue Side Order is far from “bland” anyways lol

@@everest5718 We fight an AI again, 8 has no developement, Dedf1sh does nothing, the gameplay is too repetitive because theres only 3 bosses and 5 objectives and the final boss follows the same formular the previous 4 did. They didnt care to write a cool story and just put everything in the dev diaries, which are 60% Marina saying that they are on worldtour and bland programming stuff, while the interesting parts gets rushed. You dont even have an interaction with the character who‘s soul you free nor did they care to show 8 or Dedf1sh getting their memory back. Its the definition of a bland lol.

I wonder if we will have a chance to see Agent 4 in the future. Maybe when there's a potential Splatoon 4? Despite the fact that they are a powerful Agent due to our guidance and the help of Marie and Sheldon, I feel like they deserve much more needed attention since the ones that got A LOT of attention were (Old) Agent 3/Captain 3, Agent 8 and Neo/New Agent 3. I honestly feel like they would probably have a vital role in a future Splatoon game since we rarely ever see them, the closest thing we got to them was their Palette and the Parallel Canon after all.

I noticed the beta promo art advertised an military looking splattershot with a lot of gadgets add to it. Honestly using physical gadgets as the visual indicators for upgrades would’ve been hard to implement because then they would have to make different gadget design with a lot of 3d models for every and each weapon. And honestly, the glowing lights feature is easily a much better approach both visually and practically.

Not really, actually (Though kind of). On the official page they are refered to as a "she" and so they are in Octo Expansion. What exactly happened is unknown, maybe it's a she/they situation, maybe they came out as non-binary sometime between the games, it's up to headcanon. But condidering the official page still uses She/her these pronouns are still valid to use.
