Also, remember that Dan Campbell is Sean Payton's coaching tree which is Parcells coaching tree. They 100% wanted to run the ball 40+ times to keep Kyler off the field here. Lions might run some tricky, sneaky plays and scheme stuff up marvelously, but at their core they are pretty simple: Win the trenches on both sides. Run the ball as much as possible to win the possession clock above all else. Stop the run and make the opponent one-dimensional - then turn loose the nasty DL and make them beat you under duress.

Guys. The Lions rotate series for the RBs, and then late they mix them together. It's not a mystery. "Starter" doesn't matter. "Goalline" doesn't matter. "Finish game" doesn't matter. The Lions rotate them each drive and will continue doing that until anyone can stop them. (EDIT: The Lions actively want to get Gibbs and Montgomery over 1K. Is it illegal for RBs on the same team to bet with each other on who gets the most yards and TDs? lol)

Rookie year Josh Allen is a great comp for where AR is at right now. People were hating on Josh at that time, calling him a bust etc but it was clear when watching that he was still a good player. And all the while, he was still productive for fantasy. I was all about ARQB1 this year, which I've cooled off on - but I think he can still have a strong QB finish this year

Let’s not forget that Cook and most of the Bills guys are only really playing one half cause they are just blowing everyone out. So expected fantasy points have to be low for everyone. Agreed it’s definitely tough when they are changing who is getting snaps constantly, but if anyone emerges to actually play consistent snaps there is still some upside from pass catchers, and certainly high-end rb1 upside from Cook (especially with the possibility that they might be a little more careful with running Josh since the hand injury)

Saying Rice didnt play well and had multiple drops is just stupid. When I hear something like that I check the stats because if he is maybe Worthy or someone else will inevitably start taking target share. So what does ESPN and Football Pros have to say about it? By their metrics he's had 25 catchable balls and 1 drop. Pro-football reference has him with 0 drops. He's had 29 targets and caught 24 of them with 4 or 5 passes deemed uncatchable depending on which sources you use. Almost an 83% catch rate seems pretty good to me.

I think y’all are missing a big component when it comes to the Pittsburgh Steelers. They’re down two lineman and are starting a rookie center as well as a second year tackle. Seumalo hasn’t played in the regular season, Fautanu is likely headed to injured reserve. Be patient and I promise that run game will get much better. As it gets better, Pickens will get more opportunities. Fields is being trickle fed on what he’s doing. Things will get better

Look at the defenses Bijan has faced so far this season, to produce at a startable level against 3 of the top 5 best defensive lines in football is probably a good sign. They play in the NFC South and had the easiest schedule in the NFL heading into this season. Drawing conclusions now would be hair-on-fire levels of stupid.

Bijan issue is lack of TDs, he gets elite usage just the offense doesn’t score, if you were to give him average 1 TD a game like I’m sure CMC did bc he gets multiple games with multiple tds, bet Bijan would be higher in the chart

Great show. I have to give you major kudos for all your content. Starting watching before the draft last year. As you suggested, last year, I went zero RB and took WRs and a top QB. My four teams all made the playoffs, three made the finals and I won two championships. This season I went hero RB and drafted a top QB. Through week three I've only lost one game and that was by less than a tenth of a point when I was second in scoring in the league that week. Great results even though I have AJ Brown on 3 of 4 teams. BEST FANTSAY FOOTBALL CONTENT AVAILABLE. You guys are a must watch for any serious FF fan.

Can you guys define what you mean by “allowing the game to slow down for [the qb]”? Traditionally I would take the game slowing down for a qb to mean that the qb is learning how to read the field and their processing rate becoming faster so by comparison the game “slows down”. But you guys use the phrase a lot and today were talking about the chiefs “allowing the game to slow down for mahomes”
