Is this tag just powered by coin battery and you checking the range? If yes, powered by coin battery, how did you do that.?

Can you advise the phone model you used in the test, I am also trying to find one that support both 1M and Coded Phy mode

so much frustrating lack of information on coded PHY/125. It's supposed to be so great and longer range yet nobody is using it. Also why no decodes at a signal less than -99dBm? It's like the software is not allowing display at -101 or -105. The whole entire point of the coded PHY is to get more range and be able to decode at lower signal levels like -105dBm Yet no information anywhere why not. The world is really stupid. BT5 has been available since 2016 all these years and nobody is really using it, and there is no software that properly or usefully implements it. And trying to find ANY information to experiment with it in Linux is mostly nonexistent. In your video you were for the most part getting the same range as BT4 1M phy. Also how do you know if the coded phy is actually using 125k or 500k? *you don't* and there's is no easy why to see or verify. Frustrating. I have been trying to sort this out for over two weeks now. Keep hitting dead ends and no help yet on the Internet. Not giving up until I figure it out and make it work.

I understand your frustration. There is a lot of information about Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) available online, but it can be difficult to find information about specific features, such as Coded PHY/125. Coded PHY/125 is a new feature in BLE 5 that can improve range and battery life. The Samsung Galaxy S10+ supports 125Kbps Coded PHY by default, which means that you can take advantage of this feature without having to adjust any settings. I hope this helps.
