I just bought a used 2016 that I literally can't stop staring at. I love that car so much!! I don't like the 2019. But I'll tell you why. To your point, how clean it looks inside. (16) I don't like all the knobs, or the face of the 19, but I can appreciate the extra refinement. It's all relative. If you're coming from other high end luxury sedans, I think it's safe to assume you'd be harder to impress. But if you're coming from a 2007 Focus, it's like you've died and gone to heaven. I've never loved a car more, and mine is completely entry level, but a hybrid. For me, the icing on the cake.
@321verykind2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment. I agree with you, I can definitely see your point about the knobs on the 2019. Its a little unorganized but the extra refinement makes up for it in ways.

See, that was a peek design right there. The 2016 Lincoln was the first Lincoln my dad purchased, and it was stunning. People were always asking him what kind of car he was driving. Several years later, I left my dad's firm and needed a daily driver, so I tried to buy a used 2016 Lincoln. But my bank said I needed to be at my job longer to secure the loan. I got a Lexus SC43, which I drove until about a month ago as I hit a sinkhole and totaled the car. I went back and forth before purchasing a lightly used 2019 Lincoln MKZ.

Superb reviews of the two models. RE: Panoramic Moon Roof. Plus: LOTS of sky view. Rear passengers feel less confinement. Dramatic exterior appearance (especially when open)! Exclusive Lincoln feature. Minus: Extra view is mostly behind driver’s head. Less headroom in rear. Slight increase in noise. Compromised trunk utility (trunk brace to stiffen rear frame). Extra cost. At first, I REALLY wanted the panoramic roof. But since this car was for my wife, I opted for standard moonroof. Plus, I have my Mustang GT CONVERTIBLE, baby!

One caveat: The car sits very low, and the hood completely disappears below the dash. Ive rubbed curbs and not seen potholes, because the visibility honestly, not great. The 2012 Fusion is much easier to see around you.

I have a 2015 Lincoln MKZ 3.7 AWD, this is going to be first winter with it in the northeast (Rhode Island) what mode do you recommend for snow? Comfort, Normal, or sport driving mode?
@chasyho3 жыл бұрын
Mkz owner here too! Make sure to join the mkz owners Facebook group! Lots of good information. As for the driving modes in the snow, the car will perform equally well in all modes but it depends on which driving characteristics in each mode you prefer for the snow conditions. I get a lot of snow in my area as well and leave my mkz in comfort year round with great success.
@321verykind3 жыл бұрын
I leave it normal mode in the snow because I get more feel from the steering wheel of what the front tires are doing. Driving up a icy hill is not fun 😆
@chasyho3 жыл бұрын
Love my 15 hybrid too. When I got with a 2020 the main things I noticed were the steering wheel stitching, the different rear valence, and the door handle lights at night😂. Both great cars tho! Do you feel the engine turning on in the '19 as much?
@321verykind3 жыл бұрын
Right the door handles light up at night and the puddle lights are cool too on the 17+. With the hybrid, I barely hear the engine turn on because of how well the cabin is insulated with noise dampening materials. It’s truly amazing.

No not that I know of. Those 2.0t are very unreliable on these things. It’s a big car and they stuff a tiny 2.0t in it. Engine is going to work harder, thus prone to more problems down the road.
