As I understand it, in the UK one need only prove that your reputation was harmed to win a defamation case. In the USA, one must prove not only the harm, but that the information was false. I see no way for any reputable attorney to sue US media for defamation. Not only that, but how can your reputation be further harmed when you are already the least liked people in Hollywood?
