I've been binging on your videos because you're scratching an itch in the back of my brain. I've always been into making custom cabling for ATX supplies. Never did anything inside except clean/ replace non-modular outputs with heavier/tinned leads. I've been on a kick and really enjoying tearing my consoles apart, cleaning 25+ years of dust/dirt, HDMI modding, RGB modding, recapping... Hi, I have a problem with unit, outdoor unit sometimes want to start but in general indoor working outdoor not, sims to this board had same problems, only difference is that your is showing error code, my is Old. To I afraid that microcotroler do not sending order to relay to leave power to outdoor unit, or can be resistor too.

Nice video! Nice 60+ year old fuse wire. I have some solder I use that's from the 1930's! Does the variable speed work on duty cycle or frequency? I assume duty cycle, because the circuitry looks like it could be a VFD design. Thank you.

yes this fuse wire is too old in the phase rectification it uses the frequency pulses to drive TRIAC

My mistake. I should have realized that a triac is not used in a vfd, which would be a better, but more complicated (expensive) design. Not all motors like triacs and I know some motors don't even like vfd's, unless they're pure sine wave.

Hello sir The triac on the air conditioner motherboard is activated and low voltage comes out from the triac t2 pin. (70-80v AC) Fan motor starts, accelerates, stops and starts again. capacitor triac and optocoupler were replaced. What do you think is the problem?

When fuse is burn because of wrong wires connected, is that mens that fuse only burn or need to check rest components, and how ?

in each case we must find the root cause of the fault. specially the fuse deals with current handling components. if fuse damages, the we must have to verify the current consuming components
