I think they both turned out beautifully. I just can’t choose one over the other. I believe I saw on a different channel that you can spray your paper with a spray kamar varnish or spray clear acrylic coating/triple thick clear glaze.

Even though yours turned dark, I'm partial to anything beach themed. And I'm not a big fan of copper. If it had been bronze or silver, I might would vote differently. But you both did a great job. I do like what someone else suggested. Doing a simple paper towel holder that just covers the the frame. Then use the cake pan to create themed and seasonal top pieces. Don could use a Dremel and cut out the slot to slide over the holder. Then you could just interchange the tops and not the entire holders. ❤

I was thinking the same... I spray my papers with mod podge spray & works really well to keep paper from darkening n resin... 🤔
