Well... They are from a time before wide hulls to Support crazy huge asymms, before plaining was common for keel boats and before foils. Compared to An ac75 or even a Maxi72 (cannonball for instance) they are kinda slow (although they Look slower than they really are). But for the time and the technology of the time they were blazing fast for a mono
