Welcome back and thanks for the video... It has become popular these days to focus on Sentence Blocks, but I think you hit on that concept years ago (to a certain extent). Looking forward to more videos. I will, however, make a suggestion in that your videos should be graded, in that not all of us want to review the basics, while others will definitely need to have each word explained. Hopefully you can begin to define your videos as Beginner, Intermediate, etc... Thanks again.

Good to see you back planning some new content. A small question from this video. When asking for a dish ou used yi fen... (one portion). What if you are ordering several dishes for a whole table which everone will share from? If you are a group of five, for eample, would you say wu fen...or will the waiter just assume you want enough for the table ?
@FluentinMandarinDotCom2 ай бұрын
@@pipmagwitch you can do that but normally you would just order one of each a large selection of different dishes.

Great list ! I’ve noticed when I try these my friends feel some expressions are too formal, I’d like the most common way (without sounding rude), also a bit slower on the important parts of the phrases and when possible the shortest possible expression (easier to remember). I’m hacking away at it while living in China 🙏🏼
@FluentinMandarinDotCom2 ай бұрын
some of these don't require the 请问, otherwise they are pretty colloquial.
