Why is 6 a perfect number if the sum of its actual factors (including 6) is 12 and not 6?? I am not understanding the concept of perfect number..

Perfect number doesn't include the number itself, otherwise no number will be the perfect number. "perfect number is a positive integer that is equal to the sum of its positive divisors, excluding the number itself"
