are these people buying because they are cheaper off season. I live in MN. and buy at end of summer.

Check with your dealer to see if there is a "Spring Sale" A few of our pellet manufacturers offer a "Spring Sale" to us of $10 - $40 off per pallet till the end of say June?? I don't know when the sale ends but I'm using June for reference. We pass the savings off to our customers as long as they take delivery by the end of the sale. We also have customers that order and take delivery early like some I am delivering too now, they want the product early so they don't have to wait weeks to get it in our busy time (Sep-Dec). The cost IS going up on 99% of the products we sell, I know of one that is increasing by $30+ per ton at the end of June so we are pushing as much of it out as we can to save them money. I always say if you have room in your garage or basement TAKE IT NOW that way when the cold weather hits you know your set for the winter, just grab a bag of pellets for the pellet stove or package of bio blocks for your wood stove or fireplace and not have to worry if your delivery will make it before you run out.
