Many Americans think teachers are lazy.
People think the job is easy.
People roll their eyes when teachers ask for better pay and working conditions.
My mission to use fitness as a vehicle to fix America's trust in its schools, and to fix the health of the people over the next generation doesn't just revolve around telling people to lift weights and eat more protein.
I want to advocate for America's teachers in every way that will support their optimal health.
So I decided to dive into the numbers. Comparing productive hours by day, week, and calendar year between teachers and the average private sector employees.
Turns out teachers are productive for more hours in a typical work day, week and calendar year...even WITH longer breaks and vacations.
