I love that despite everything that happened between them including their confrontation at the scrapyard the day he was shot, Robert refused to believe that Aaron would do this to him. His feelings for him are strong as ever.

Robert is way too concerned about people calling him gay or calling Aaron his boyfriend. Anytime anyone mentions that he immediately denies it nevermind what else they've said in that same breath. the man doth protest too much, methinks...

+Chester Dikkie Robert won´t ever change. Once he gets over how frightened he is right now (he is a real coward, unlike Aaron, who he always accuses of being that among other things) he will keep taking advantage of everybody. Hope Aaron doesn´t suffer in his hands anymore.

I don't think Aaron was his boyfriend either, he was a male mistress. Robert was with Christie's as her boyfriends part of the time the other part he was sleeping with married Robert.

+sanyrub Agreed. Frankly this whole thing would have been a grand waste if Robert just goes about his usual bs as before. Back to square one as it were. I was hoping either Robert actually did die or at the very least woke up as a changed man, nearly being killed and all. The only other thing he could do that would make a difference is leave the village. If not, we could be doing this whole scenario again come next year.

***** I think there´s another possibility: Robert doesn´t change BUT Aaron starts having stories that doesn´t involve Robert so the story wouldn´t repeat itself (Robert would try and manipulate other people this time lol). All the latest events suggest a lot more Andy vs Robert stuff, maybe Aaron focuses on his family or other things. The show knows they are two of their most popular actors and characters so I don´t know if they will be willing to end robron for good. We´ll see.

+ray jones Completely disagree, I know a lot of people "fall in love" with their mistresses but a lot like Ste/Harry on Hollyoaks, the writers wanted to built up a forbidden love story, to make it more than just an affair. Robert considered Aaron his boyfriend and vise versa even if he denies until the day he actually dies. That's the truth.

Really disappointed that Ross was the shooter. Andy won;t keep his part of the bargain and i have no doubt that the never ending feud between Andy and Robert will continue (again its been going on for years) and the same for Ross and Pete (again) Aaron will get out of Jail (again) come on Emmerdale same old story give these fine actors something new to get their teeth into. As for Aaron and Robert either get on with it or let it go completely and the best part of the rewind was Aaron declaring his love for Robert. Bet the Robert haters didn't like that bit lol

+nuttynetty Hmm I guess you could also detect how disgusted Aaron was by himself for still having feelings (which at this point are more like hate). Did you also find that part as a "victory" or something? :) There are no Robert haters. There are people who think the actor is great and the drama good but just don´t defend repulsive actions, especially the ones inflicted in Aaron. About the shooting: it was a susprise, nobody guessed the outcome.

BrittyRiss18 I know, and those many months ago I was here and people talked about it here and I was one of those being totally supportive of Ryan. You can check if you have time. Seriously. He´s done so good, and even if wasn´t good, it´s not tolerable to bully him and much less his looks. What do you take me for? lol There´s a reason why I don´t support Robert´s often disgusting behaviour :)

Oh Andy, Ross is the absolute worst person for you to get in bed with. Ironic that he says that Robert has no conscience when they're so alike.. Chrissie is strutting about feeling high and mighty and it irks me but I know that it won't last and I can't wait for her to tumble down again. Cows vs booze: pretty much a no-brainer.
