Loving the new mold. They both came out super cute. Ive seen that paper stuff used in molds before, she used her heat gun to crinkle it up a bit then laid it on top of the resin.

He's so cute! I love the film in him, its so lovely! I was thinking, you could maybe do a Jackson Pollock with the mica powders and alcohol, like mix them together and splatter the inside of a mold, or maybe pour the colors in and tilt the mold to make it swirl inside it, let it dry then fill it with black. I bet that would look awesome!

I think you used fantasy film in the first turtle 🐢 🤔 An easy way to find out is to add heat to the film and see if it blisters up and becomes even more colorful. However don't use a heat gun, light a candle and hold the film above the flame so that it slowly warms up but doesn't catch on fire. You can dab a tiny bit of glue on the spot of unblue shell and add your mica dust to cover the area.

Adorable. Is there a way to do a double pour? Use the powder like you did but just fill the shell part with black let it cure the use a coloured resin for the rest. That way you get the best of both.

Unfortunately on this particular mold the head is way to slanted down and anything that get poured in the shell will mix with the head that's why I tried to keep it simple.

Those strips look like nail foil strips that I have purchased, not sure yours are. Temu sells Mylar flakes that I love to mix in some of my products. They come in many colors. You should try them.
