Still on map 5 with JB4. car is running great minus a few small bugs. We have some fun with it tonight, rowing thru the gears, taking logs, and doing a run with a bolt on dragpack Hellcat. She just needs a few small adjustments before we can turn up the boost.

My car does the same shit with surging idle. I also replaced the throttle body but it still does it. The weirdest part is mine does it every startup every single time. Unless I connect the jb4 Bluetooth to my phone. Then it’s starts fine and drives fine. Im thinking it has to be related to the jb4 physical connections. Anyway good to see this beast back in the road. 🤘

Had the same sh*t on mine. Removed the JB4 for a week to test it out. Also I noticed most diagnostic/log tools via OBD get inconsistent signal, even if the JB4 is at map 0.

For the throttle issue it’s been happening to me aswell only happens when temps are below freezing around 20 degrees f , but once I clear the code it goes away

I'm interested in any upgrades or reinforcement you had to do the Xi drivetrain. Do you have any upgraded axles, driveshafts, diff, etc? I'm actually not familiar with the Xi drivetrain at all. Just that the oil pan has an axle go through it. 😄 Maybe an underbody shot explaining everything from the trans & back in a later video would be killer.

They’re pretty robust and insane tbh. Back in like 2015 my homies moms bf had a 535xi and he let us help him build it in the garage. It was incredible, stage 1 turbos, e85 etc it was like 550whp by the end of it and it was all stock drivetrain

@@jamesgreeder7187 depends on the gearbox mostly. The autos tend to give in above 600 wtq. Also, if you put an LSD, you are guaranteed to snap axles. But x-drive cars don't need it.
