Running 33s bfg muds with a 3inch lift and all 4 wheel guards chopped! App running 33s on a disco is equivalent clearance as a patrol on 35s as the diff pumpkin on discos are a bit smaller.

Great video. My 2003 Disco has a 3" lift, and the tires are approximately 32". I am thinking about adding some small spacers and going to 33's.

Spacers bad idea, hubs will wear out and cv, instead get off set rims

@@jjt1093 I meant coil spacers for a small amount of extra lift. Doesn't matter now. It was totalled in a wreck. I sure do miss it.

I have 33's with a 2' suspension lift and then an additional 2inches with a white tiger kit from Les Richmond. With castor correction and a few other minor mods, all is fine !!!!

I've got a 95 disco one. I put on a lift, @3" and now my tires are a bit small looking. I'm wondering if I can put 35" tires on. Right now, I'm running 31"s.

Not with just 3” 33’s are pushing the limits. But maybe with a lot of trimming.

Did you extend any of the lines up front when lifting your rig?

I did extend the brake lines, ABS line I moved down abit and tied it off on the chassis. Though since then I have extended ABS lines

Since you have been running the 33” for a year now. Have you done axles or CVs? Or does scrub on big flex

Nope, axles and CV are still very happy. And they've gone through some rough things too! I have no issues with scrubbing on standard offset. But now i have a 30mm spacer they do scrub. Not enough to worry me though

Don’t supppse anyone knows how you’d go with rubbing on 305 70 r16? They’re 0.3 of an inch shorter but 2 inches wider than those in the video

Dunno if much help but my mate with 285/75 16 don't rub, but he's on 3" lift and standard offset. I currently have a 30mm spacer with the 255 and on 3" lift. They scrub a Fair bit, especially is I take sway bars out

Tyres im running are 255 85R16. Apparently you can also run a 285 75R16 with a 2" lift as well. Yes spacers will push the tyres out, giving you more of a wider track
