Oh yeah she's sitting pretty Lee! Nason clear for the win. That's all I use. Some guys talk crap about it but I've been using it for over 20 years now on brand new collision repairs and all and never had a problem with it. I think it's the best budget paint on the market IMO. 😉✌

Lee. Painting the car is your taste. And you are keeping everything. So your taste is not everyone's taste that does not make it wrong. I don't like during new cars I like. 80's and maybe 90's cars for my everyday driver. That is my taste don't make it wrong, so ease up on the other people online. Clear coat is fine... it will not peel if applied correctly. Must be 2 mills preferably thicker plus proper prep work done

For the SS I noticed that difference was the mixing ratio, I could be wrong though. One was 4:1 and the other was 8:1. There was a difference between the price too, the 8:1 was cheaper. It was from a local paint supplier. I agree with you on the people that are doing these cars showing them off in the worst condition. I am not a fan of them, but to each their own.

Looks like rough orange peel on the side of that truck . That's why the white paint looks dull. I can see how rough it is in the reflection .watch 15:09 minutes into it.and check out inside the glare under the passenger mirror .from the mirror . And tell me that's not rough orange peel .

That's just normal texture from painting. I don't buff out my paint jobs.

Lee have you ever used Imron aircraft paint? And is the bed liner like a Rhino liner.spray on.

I've used Imron car paint back in the day. Bedliner is Rustoleum from Walmart.

Not a fan of the patina look, some people like to show the life of the car but a nice paint job just sets a older car apart from the rolling junk out there

man i ain't quick enough to go over the whole before the paint starts to dry . have you ever painted a car one panel at a time or half one and half a few days later

Nason paint is bottom of the barrel. Made by dupont. If you don't beleave me check ot put your self. Dupont states that's its low end paint

The synthetic may be but the 2k urethane is top notch. It can stay in the burning sun for 10 years and still look great.
