Hearing the “roar” when you get near the bad guys room used to make me nervous and actually a little scared when I was little. I was born in 1983 so we put a lot of hours into this game early 90’s.

aww a few years off. by the 90s we were spoiled with other games and it sort of took the sting out of classic games like legend of zelda. i am a late 70s kid so we got to this in 1988 when things were fresh and our minds weren't yet tainted. this title rents space in my head that no other game can fill. we would turn the volume down on the tv when we heard footsteps upstairs at 4am during our several all-nighters

I’ve seen the videos that explain how you know which enemies will drop certain prizes when you kill them but it amazes me how you can keep up with that in your head so you’ll know when you need a “clock” or a “fairy”. The gameplay itself takes a high level of concentration as it is, but when you add having to keep a “kill count” in your head on top of it, it makes these speed runs even more impressive. Only a true gamer understands all of the things going on during these speed runs. Good job man!

Great run congrats again Lack! Regarding the 100% and “cheating” complaints: He is pulling off some difficult glitches cleanly and consistently while manipulating item drops on the fly. The game doesn’t have a completion percent so the community agrees on what constitutes 100%. Walking across the whole map and getting all maps and compasses for instance would be slow and boring (Watch someone collect Korok seeds for 8 hours if that’s your thing). Up+A has been around forever as a save warp and there are other categories that don’t use it.

man, you are a great runner not glitchless, but to me it became a regular thing to glitch in certain games and this is a 100%, so then i feel like there's no need for an excuse at all other times same, but that's per person, i guess also, by seeing this video in my recommendations, i wanted to do zelda randomizer again, so watched this first, and after dinner, i go rando :) i also will practice the worldmap's boundaries clip (at least from 1 side to the other) and the diamond shaped staircase clip

i have to add, that i normally watch people and observe how well they do without glitches but with glitches, i started observing how well they do the glitches ever since i started to accept them although with randomizers i probably won't use em too much (when and if i can), since enemies are randomized, too, and i think i need to kill the ones in the staircases with blocks in diamond shape.... i think i need to, as it'd be a useless randomization, otherwise, imo

All I know is that it has to do with that reset before it. He's starting at the right frame and then doing frame perfect movements, most likely. But I've not seen him get four in a row that way before. Usually only two then another reset.

I don't see how it can be 100% with no white sword and no blue ring. You can argue that the red ring is better and so is the magic sword, but they are still part of the game and therefore part of the 100%.

It's all permanent items as it says in the description. You use the meat and can lose the shield. The other lower tier items are made obsolete by more powerful items.

You are the best player I've seen for this game by a LOT, this is still my favorite game, I got it when it was new back in the 80s, but for fun and maybe novelty at the category a true 100% requiring 100% of the items and upgrade stages, boomerang/magic boomerang, blue/red rings, potions (maybe buy a red one and use it so it turns blue), all swords, etc could be proposed, I know the route would have to be completely redesigned but it could be interesting to see certain weird choices in routing. Another 100% could be to open ALL doors including "pay me" ones, buy all advices, etc. but that may add 20-30 mins on the run and take some of the fun out of it for you ( I would still love to see it) most likely due to farming Rupees. I can't imagine that craziness with the 2nd quest as well.

Not hacked, figured out. If you enter the cave on specific frames, you can predict the outcome of the money making game. With precise movement, it can be guessed several times in a row.

If you mean Manhandla, its cuz the center of its body is the weakest and can be killed with a single bomb if timed precisely.
