I've been trying to implement my own version of minimalism in my life and seeing these videos really open my eyes to things we don't need in life. I don't deprive myself from my daily rituals like I still wear makeup which lasts me forever, I still like to have a variety of outfit options but I'm very selective, and I drink coffee every day of my life but I have eliminated ordering coffee out for example. I honestly do keep things for a long time and take really good care of my belongings. I will sew clothes and not throw things around like they're disposable. Learning one day at a time 🙏🏼

Yayy!! I’m so happy to hear that Rosario 🙌🏼 I always try to convince my sisters and they still think I’m nuts when it comes to the period underwear. I swear my period seems lighter and just simpler, if that’s even a thing lol, ever since I switched to reusable period items 5 years ago.

This is a wonderful video. Years ago, I read a book about Martha Matilda Harper. She created her very own identity from what happened in her life. She became a business woman. Her hair was to the floor! It is one of the 4 books I will never get rid of. I read it twice over the past 18 years.

Excellent video! It's good that you've worked these things out so young, and I hope these things stay with you for life. I am just starting out on my minimalism journey and I hope things never go back the way they were. Videos like this are really helpful and challenging, as I am seeing so many areas of my life that I've let succumb to having too much of everything available.

Love your attitude, you made some good points. But.. I hate it that minimalists always tell you that make-up is a waste of money and that you don't need it. The only reason they don't need it themselves is because they already have flawless skin, perfect eyebrows and jet-black eyelashes. Good for you. I have red spots on my cheeks, dark circles and stubborn eyebrows. With a perfect face, I would also laugh at everyone who buys make-up.

Hello from Arizona!! I love your channel, I hope you never go away because legit you are like the only person I watch and look forward to, feel like I have a friend across the country :) Just love your videos! Just wanted to share a bit, sorry for the super long comment. 3. I have a Live, Laugh. Love pot holder I got as a gag gift for my boyfriend so we can be that cheesy couple that has all these inspo quotes. Its funny everytime I pull it out but it is so like everyone else. 5. I am militayr, and before some of the grooming policies considered hair and nails. inthe grooming standards I would paint my toes and do clear polish or tips just so I felt feminine. Its a bit more lax now. and I'm learning to get away from the polish but its just a thing I do. ONe day I'd love to be a glass file gal. 6. Recently started decluttering my makeup, SO FREEING!!! I still wear some every here and there but it is like. asandwich bag size full of makeup versus a whole show box full. 10. Whenever you do have a little one, get a backpack/use a backpack if you already have one. Diaper bags are such a pain falling off the shoulder or slinging it everywhere, I found a backpack soooooooo much better. 15. I use my local library for books, and since my boyfriend is an avid reader/audiable junkie we share an account if there is anything I really wnat to listen to or read I pull it up on the kindle app. 18. Another thing I do because it just makes me feel more feminine in the military, but I do wear stud earrings. I don't have to though, and they were purchased in surgical grade steel because I am sensitive to jewelry. 19. Kids are the same, don't go down the rabbit hole of toys. They play will all your things, boxes, remotes, anything. But I was a new mommy once, a toy or 3 is fine but don't go crazy. I know you won't but just in case no one tells you dont get your little(s) hella/any toys. 25. I have this thing that slides under my bed and hangs on the side, put my kindle reader, chapstick, and inhaler in there. I hate nightstands, its a junk collecting station and been happy the last 2 years without them. 28. Super guilty of fridge magnets. Its another military thing, I never wanted my stuff lost becuase of moves so I buy a magnet for places I've been. They're like my nick nacks. I hate having a lot of things anyway but I did want to have something from my travels. Magnets are easy and I have a whole fridge to fill. 33. My mom drinks coffee so. I bought a tiny french press. Makes one cup of coffee, I just tell her to bring her own cream, coffee, and whatever else she likes in her coffee. Its takes up so little space I don't mind having it (along with her coffee cup that doubles as my tea cup). It is also good at making chamomille tea (I use the loose herb not the bag) without needing like a little tea infuser so I give the french life for my needs. EDIT: I know you don't have a purse, but once the backpack/diaper bag isn't needed a wristlet to hold your phone, wallet (or cards) and little extra's your kiddo needs. I just got rid of my purse and got a small coach double wristlet at the outlet. Holds my phone, 6 cards, inhaler, keys, childrens allergy/pain pills (2 each) some folded up wipes in a baggie, 2 bandaids (because boo boos) and chapstick (we both have dry lips). I thought I could never get rid of a purse and need to have snacks and an extra comfort item but I don't. Finally free of the purse! I will say anythng that involves hands (roller skating) maybe spring for a fanny pack instead of the wristlet. I still have my purse (which is small) so in the future for activities I will just throw the wrsitlet in it so I can be handsfree. Have a great week Kyra!

I agree with the period underwear!!! They’re amazing, and I also use a “cup”. I’d never go back.. it’s just a waste of money doing anything else. If you’re afraid of using the cup, or something similar, at least use period underwear instead of a pad/liner they’re really great!

I need my night stand pretty much just to put my glasses on. Only reason I have not gotten rid of it. 🤍 also I had a breast reduction when I was 22. I’m now 37 and it was the BEST decision I made for myself in my 20s
