Notion is a beast! I started my Notion journey about three weeks ago. I CANNOT believe how many features it has. It's a lot of learning, but as I become more comfortable with it, I can absolutely see the value in it, AND why people love it so much!!!! I've been learning so much from your channel. Thank you!

love your easy to understand Notion tutorials -- I am relatively new to Notion and was wondering if there is a way to connect two databases to one calendar -- such as connecting a contact database showing birthdays to my calendar with my daily tasks -- so each day as I look at my calendar I can see both --??

Thanks for the tips! curious how difficult the notion certificate was? How can you study for something like that?
@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
Check out the link in my description. That is Notions official page where they talk about study strategies and you can apply there. I recommend learning about Notion sharing settings, database permissions, relations and rollups, shortcuts, and understand how teams work in Notion. If you don’t pass with 70% plus you’ll get a chance to retake after 30 days. Good luck!!

@@ProductiveDude Thanks! Another Quick Question, how did you add multiple photos to scroll through. I cant seem to figure it out. It wont let me upload multiple photos at once.
@ProductiveDude2 жыл бұрын
@@brandi3447 Just add them separately within the page. '/image' should pull up the image option, upload one image, then do '/image' again below that further down the page. Repeat these steps as many time as you want, then click on one of the photos and you'll be able to scroll through. :)

Based on my personal experience, Notion seems like a dangerous tool that is blinded by money. If you make a mistake in inviting members, you will be automatically charged for an additional year, and there seems to be no way to prevent it. There are many good tools out there, so if you choose to use Notion, use it for personal use only and be extremely cautious with collaboration. I recommended it for students' homework submissions, and ended up being automatically charged over $5,000. When I raised the issue, instead of a refund, I was given useless credits worth $5,000, and they said they couldn't provide a refund after 3 days. Hundreds of dollars can disappear in an instant. Notion is an extremely risky and insane company. Unless your company is paying for it, I highly recommend avoiding it, and if you investigate, you'll see that it incurs tremendous costs. $5,000 is unusable even for a personal plus account and I think the company is just terrible. You'd be better off using MS Loop or other tools. Never use Notion for anything other than a personal free account. And even the personal free account is garbage. You have to pay a lot of money just to do anything, and it's all automatic. It's a tool from a company that's really suspect at its core
