It’s never a waste of time taking apart old stuff that’s not working and trying to fix it. A lot of times it’s as simple as an o-ring or just freeing something up and cleaning and oiling it. Or even with electrical stuff, I don’t know how many times I’ve taken old light switches and fan switches apart and just cleaned all the contacts and put a bit of grease on everything and they’ll work like new. God bless the tinkers like us Wayne 👍

Great Video, Wayne. Looks like Jimmy was having the most fun in this video. Glad Neighbor Kid helps out with stuff. Looks like the air system has moisture and oil, two big problems to deal with. Looking forward to seeing the next video. It will be nice to see the big Kitty moving again.

"Cross-threading is nature's Loctite". Yes, yes it is and works when you are only putting it back together once and never again. 🤣 Wow! Those were some rusty brake cans. Even the spring was rusted into pieces.

The Peterbilt 359 "Project J" ( Junk ) is keeping me a regular viewer. Reminds me of Mark starting on his TwinStick channel. Looks like the air system is fully contaminated. New air lines and tanks to match those new valves is necessary here. Might as well create a fresh system. Little by little this will all get done.

3:27 I would jack the drives up, put 'em on stands, put it in top gear, hold the clutch down, start it, then with the clutch on the firewall I'd hit the brakes. Since the release mechanism is working properly, that should pop the disc free of the flywheel and pressure plate without much fuss. The rust would be the only thing keeping the clutch engaged at that point and it's not gonna be *that* strong. Works a treat on smaller stuff anyway.

Ifbthe clitch isnt too frozen in old tractors we just hook them to trees and hold the clutch down and give it hell. It usually works unless theres no hope of it getting unstuck.

Hey, l just made you say underwear😂l know lots of people who watch your channel think you went down to the Carolinas and bought that truck for some paultry amount like $5K. I know you got a lot more than that in it. Plus youve got the expenses of the trip, but l think that is the coolest truck on the planet right now.

Progress.........little by little. Those steel parking brace cans don't even count as scrap . I salvaged 2 Anchorlock assemblies without using the T bolts by leaving them connected by the rubber hoses. That way, they didn't fly away . This was on a parked chassis where I removed the V-12 engine, then decided to scrounge some extra parts .
