I think it was based on a risk assessment that both of them were seen as being too dangerous to live near the other royals (especially William and his family). i do not think they will ever be given a property anywhere near the Wales family. Fully agree with you on Frogmore situation. it’s too close to William & Catherine’s house where the children also live. I do believe when Harry & Meghan left royal duties for Canada initially & then the US it was because the Queen sacked them from all Royal duties. To cover the embarrassment the Markles may feel, the story of wanting to make their own way was born. The fact that our Queen basically threw Meg’s out of England after the theft of jewellery whilst visiting William & Catherine with Harry, Meghan was then also caught snooping around in Charlotte bedroom and taking photos of the child sleeping. William and a protection officer caught her red handed and turfed her out. I don't think Diana per se was her fixation. I think-feel she saw Diana as her vehicle, consciously chosen as the RF weak point for zoning in on whichever of the males she could get to and acquire.
