496 miles later, we finished the Colorado Trail!!
I can't believe how beautiful of an experience it was, it was truly a breathtaking journey. Unfortunately our last week on trail was met with a monsoon of rain due to La Niña. We would have avoided it had we not been constrained by a deadline.
Filmed July 2022
Thanks to the Colorado Trail Foundation for all their work maintaining an amazing trail. I recommend @OutsideComfortZone 's videos as a guide to the Colorado Trail. They really helped me plan and prepare

Really enjoying your videos Stephen! Loved watching them all. We know how hard it can be the get a YT channel off the ground, we're trying to do the same ourselves. Anyway, have subscribed in support! Keep up the good work

Congrats! 35 days sounds like a good pace...I think Oatmeal and I will shoot for 40 to 45 days in '24. A slower pace like that can be done, right?

Of courses! I think with Oatmeal, doing a slower pace would be a good idea since it's harder for dogs to regulate their temperature. In the longer sections like Collegiate West or Silverton - Durango, it might be harder logistically. You'll have to bring more food or work out a way to do a resupply
