I am Chinese and lived in Canada for 30 years. I am used to French and North American styling. French is more simple and low key and North American is more athletic and casual. I also can appreciate Chinese style dressing because it reminds me of traditional Chinese clothing. It is nice to have a lot of details. Italians are also very colourful like Chinese. I think Chinese should keep the colourful and floaty style but do it in a better way.
I think it's a very good video. Criticism can be healthy and beneficial. People should not take critics too personally, instead they should have the choice if they need to change to improve themselves or to ignore them.
Sample groupings are vastly different. it all depends on your priority.
I agree with most you said, but clothes are only part of the image projected. More important in my view is culture appreciation, such as literature, art and music. Such will go a long way to compensate imperfections in style or body shape, although, more often than not, people with better culture knowledge tends to dress well without trying hard. The other thing worth mention is dress for the occasion. For travel, for example, I would pack completely different clothes for Paris or Vienna to Delhi or Malaga.
