My headcanon for the Waddle Dee mod is that he tries to copy a bunch of the copy abilities but fails. His Rollout would be an attempt to copy Wheel. His trip was an attempt to copy the Fire Dash from Kirby 64. Corkscrews and spins were an attempt at Yo Yo and so on.
