yes i agree to one comment that there should be a "center support post" to hold the weight of the roof also might avoid the colapse of the enter roof due to its heavy weight (mere suggestion only )

As I saw the roof tiles are ok about the weight but its the heavy burst of wind blowing them away, I see that as the bottom row went on first then the next row slightly over lays the bottom one and so on, is this enough to hold them.

her chimney is in the direct path to off flowing rain water from the roof it needs to be higher most are just past the top of the peak for air draw and smoke removal air and rain would push it back into her shelter

Seng Ly this house you built high of the ground to prevent flooding in the rain season, But the other ones built on the ground could or should have trenches built next to them diverting the rain water away from the house.

What country are you building all of these houses because I'm just curious if there is any law in your place prohibiting excessive use of trees in building these houses. Bloggers in Vietnam are already using cut lumber most of them Here in the Philippines cutting of trees are already prohibited although some are doing it for profit. What happens to these houses after you build them?. Just asking
