I feel you. I myself am a female and bi. I realized it a while ago. Just remember sexuality is a fluid thing, and there isn’t a “ratio” of who you like more. The ratio thing is more or less a joke among the bi community. But I agree with you Santana and Brit = 🥵. But seriously, for a while I was only in straight relationships and then I realized I was bi. And just another side note, from personal experience, you have to give yourself credit for learning what you like and take your time. I met this girl back in December and I was too fast into thinking I liked her when I had just met her, it ended up not working out and I was seriously mad at myself, thinking that it should’ve been great, because I was bi, realized who I was etc. but we just didn’t work well together and I realized that it wasn’t the fact that I wasn’t bi, it’s just that our personalities didn’t match. I got a girlfriend after and her and I were really good together, although her parents were homophobic and then found out and then COVID happened so we couldn’t talk, we ended up just breaking things off for the better. Just don’t be hard on yourself and make yourself feel less valid than you are even if you have more straight relationships with guys than with girls.

The first time reading it, I considered it obvious that just because a relationship might not work out with the first girl I date, may not mean anything about my sexuality and more to do with the relationship. That said, I have been concerned about whether my female attraction is only sexual or if it is romantic as well and that is hard to know having not dated a girl. I guess I was expecting that when I date a girl the outcome of that will tell me the answer to that question. So even though it seems obvious, I will try to remember your advice so that I don't unintentionally put all of my expectations about my sexuality into that first relationship, whenever that happens. Also, while I'm happy to not have a definitive ratio and just let myself go with what I feel, it still is a shock to realise how attracted to females I am and how oblivious to guys I can be. I guess being bisexual my whole life alongside religious (not anymore) made it easy to push down my attractiin to women because I still so loved dating guys. It's pretty exciting to be waking up to myself.

Just take your time. and if it ends up that you don’t like girls or whatever, it’s okay to take back saying that you are bi or whatever. A lot of people (especially straight religious people) think that sexuality is set in stone while, it really is fluid. I hope you figure it out though!!
