He is the 'Roger Ebert' of India. Undoubtedly the best film critic in India.

But he is not as revolutionary as Roger Ebert, who was a revelation in his time.

It's always a pleasure to hear from Mr.Baradwaj Rangan my favourite film critic. I am glad that he addressed the hate comments because even we feel bad about those repetitive hate comments and people are being so crazy that they even put body shaming comments on KZbin and they're not even aware that they are belittling themselves. Thank you for bringing him here❤️

Very insightful interview. Here is a person who know so well about his craft and has a great vocabulary to explain that. Such lucid explanation is often times missing when people try to verbose with their statements. I felt so good when he told those lines from song penned by Gulzar; that one line encapsulated a lot of things. Good job Vaibhav and team on conducting this interview. It went meta at times when you asked him how to do interviews and incorporated his answers to your next questions.

I was excited when I saw this in my feed and immediately jumped to the 'movie recommendation' section only to find out the conversation being 'about' movie recommendations and not actual recommendation itself (started with Monty Python but then the conversation just went off the rails). Or maybe the other way to look at it is the timestamp (title) is misleading.

many more interesting probing questions could have been asked but was missed by the interviewer. for eg. when he says "I have become a better writer now" I would have asked how do you know? there is no concept of peer reviewing here, so is it your own evaluation? if so, is'nt it a little biased?

What. Is. Wrong. With. This. Interviewer. Why. Dafuq. Would. You. Tell. Him. To. Not. Watch. Game. Of. Thrones. What. Dafuq. Why? GoT is an Event. It's history. It changed the way Television functions. Why would you say that to him just because you did not like it after season 3. This is something a child (not even a teenager these days)would crib about - Dude I did not like GoT after Season 3 so don't watch it. Let me amend that. GoT changed the scope of Television. So watch it. Don't be swayed by opinions. MR BARADWAJ RANGAN YOU NEED TO WATCH GAME OF THRONES. IT'S EPIC. ITS GREATER THAN ALL THE SHOWS YOU MENTIONED. DONT LISTENING TO THIS GUY. HE SEEMS TO BE RAHUL DESAI'S KUMBH KE MELE MEIN LOST BROTHER. MR CYNICAL PART 2.
