Happy new year! Lemme explain point #3. Basically a few situations could happen as you listed in this video. A) pad shifts when your body shifts B)pad was stored in a funky position for a while and got bent C) there is not sticky there ( this happens with generic pad brands. The sticky side is HORRIBLE! IT AIN’T EVEN STKY HALF THE TIME FOR ME!) hope this helps! ❤

I'm 30 years old and I'm still learning to be confident about my periods. Guess what, I no longer care rather I accidentally stained my bed or not, it just happens. To be honest, there's no shame in dealing with blood stains, its not a big deal since they do come out with cold, soapy water or hydrogen peroxide. This means I need a bigger pad instead of panty liners because they aren't as absorbent as actual pads. When I was living with my foster mother while she's alive, she didn't get the right absorbency and I was in my teens at that time. She threatened to punish me for not sleeping with a towel under me. That's not cool. I've learned having a heavy flow is not my fault, it's been this way since I was 11.

Panty liners are for when your period is slowing down and coming to an end use pads or tampons for the heavy days but I would also use a pad to catch any blood that escapes your tampon

THANKFULLY my first period was painless and i knew about it and was told how to put it on. I got it in my house too since it was in lockdown (Thank God it was or i would have been in school that time). From that time till now,my periods have been of little to no pain. Super lucky,i know.

FUN FACT: I don't know about other countries, but in the U.K there's this thing call Period Pants, and it allows you to have comfortable underwear to put you pad in. It is also used for double protection

I have a period story. When I was in 5th grade I got my period for the first time. I bleed through my pants and I was embarrassed. I asked the teacher to go use the restroom/ go to the nurse. About the feeling the blood clot leave your body... not only have I felt that happen (on a very frequent basis), but sometimes the blood clot is so big that I feel it leave my uterus. When that happens, no matter if I just put on a clean pad, I head straight to the nearest bathroom, because I know that thing will fill it up to overflow if I don't make it to the toilet before it leaves my body. As for why this happens, for me it's a part of having PCOS (Poly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome) where my periods are longer, bloodier and far more painful than what most women will ever experience. It also comes with a whole host of other fun (not) symptoms, like facial hair (think bearded women), excessive body hair where women normally don't have any (chest, back, backside, thighs), receding hairline, rapid weight gain and the inability to lose said weight, infertility, depression, anxiety, and the funnest one of all, having blood cysts continually form and then burst on our ovaries. Fun times. And there is no cure and nothing to help mitigate the symptoms. And it's lifelong, not even menopause will fully relieve us from this.

I don`t feel my periods when I first wake up on days 4 and after(like they would go away) but then they come back later in the day. I say this alot, but I didn`t learn that at school. So when it happened on my first period, I just took the pad off, but then it came back later the same day. And worse, i was out shopping when it came back. They should of warned my classmates that when learning about periods. I also only get cramps days 1-4. But on day 4, I only get cramps when it comes back. I get my period for 6-7 days. So days 5-7 I don`t get cramps. I hate when I wake up, the moment I get out of bed, it flows like a waterfall. As for the pad and hair thing, no that never happened to me.

Usaully when hair gets stuck its in the morning when a small part of the pad has bent over. Getting out of the shower is scary as I try to dry off fast enough. I constantly get that phantom feeling that I'm leaking, very recently I was at work, didn't know when I would get a break and felt that I was bleeding through, went through all that freaking out only to find nothing. One thing that was not in the list is not being able to tell if your hungry because of cramps. Whenever it gets to be meal time and I have cramps I can't tell if I'm actually hungry because cramps are stronger then hunger.

I’m 13 and got my first period last year in 6th grade in December, luckily I was at home but one first week I went to school and I leaked on a wooden chair 😭😭 I got so scared I wanted to ask someone to check me but I was too scared, and the rest of the day I refused to sit in a chair and when in my next class I knew I’d have to sit in one, I went through my locker looking for any hoodie or sweater because I couldn’t use the one I was wearing because I hadn’t ever shaved my arms or legs before and my I had really hairy legs and arms because of genes and I was never thought how to shave so I used the only sweater in my locker, a white one. That was my last class. Then I went home. I’m on my period rn. Usually on day 1, it’s like kinda light but not super light, and on day 2 it’s ALOT of blood, and on day 3 again, ALOT, and on day 4 (today) it goes away but then the next day it comes back. ALWAYS. That always happens, and I used to believe it was over after day 4 but nope. And I’ve had the blood plop out of me, like in the shower, and ofc I’ve used toilet paper for emergencies. Like when I got it a few days ago I was in a mall and I had to use toilet paper. And MY CRAMPS ARE SO BAD. I remember before I got my first period I had horrible cramps in my lower back for like 2 weeks and I didn’t know why. Now I know whenever it’s coming because a day before, I always get the horrible back cramps. And OMG the sweat one is so relatable. I be stressing that it bled through and I go to the bathroom and it’s nothing, I could talk about this for hours

Ok so i have a pretty short story for your next period video, So, a few days ago my classmate, (7th Grade) was pretending to have an ankle monitor by shoving a glow stick in his sock. He then stuck to the role saying “this ankle monitor gives me leg cramps” then following up with something he heard in his last period class which was “This girl in my last period was complaining about her cramps, like what? do you girls run a mile everyday” and i started cackling and went over to my best friend who was a few feet away, telling her what happened then we went on to convince him that it is a law that all girls have to run a mile everyday because we can not tell him the truth, he’s too innocent 😇 tysm if u use this in a video, we found it really funny

My last year in college, I was having periods that would last for 15-20 days, some days, I was throwing clots a LOT. Like I got up one morning and walked down the hall (10 feet), down 16 stairs, and the 22 feet to the toilet ... on my way, I literally dropped at least 12 large clots (they were so heavy that they slipped out the leg hole of my undies and down my pant leg). I did go to the doctor and was referred to a gyno, but the doc at least gave me a med to stop the period. Gyno put me on the pill (with iron because I was extremely anemic due to all of the bleeding).

The period poops are because of the contractions in the uterus to expel the tissue, because your intestines are so close it also causes them to contract and move waste through your system quicker so you poop more on a period

Hack for the shower: take TP and wipe to get extra blood off, and kinda like keep it there till you get your stuff ready

My guy friends found out I was on my period today. The speed at which they dialed back the shenanigans so I could be calmer (irritability sucks). I have been friends with these boys for about four years and just now decided I could tell them when I was on my period. It went a lot better than I expected. We're in high school btw.

One time I was 8 I went to the bathroom and a 5th grade girl got their period (heard them tell a friend) And didn't flush at all so much blood toilet paper made water red clumps of paper to hide it

the only time i've physically felt a blot clot come out of me was right after i had my c-section and i was feeling large blood clots come out it was disgusting and the weirdest feeling. I hated it. lol

Ahh the paranoia of feeling blood came out but nothing did 😢 especially cos I never know when my period is, I can feel it coming cos I want chocolate and I get random cramps but mine are very irregular other than this unfortunately so I have to be careful when I get these things

With the #3 thing. I HURTS A LOT. #6 it is weird. I hate it in the morning because I dont bleed at all at night then the morning it all comes out, I was at a friends house and that happened. I want to live in a world when men have period or we don't have periods

loved this video! I do have one question though... I have a medium but also sometimes kinda heavy but anyway I have never seen blood in the shower....is this normal?

Oh yes you're totally fine!! The water dilutes it (I guess is the word?) So sometimes it IS coming out but you can't see it cause it gets diluted from the water!! It could also just be that you happen to not be bleeding at the time you're in the shower! Hope this helps!! :) (also sorry it's like a year late)
