There is a meme about tire size that’s pretty good.. pretty much if you put 33’s on it you’ll want 35’s 35’ you’ll want 37’s the list goes on.. When you try to get the last bead on and when putting the bolts in put a five gallon bucket under the wheel to hold the tire off the ground and gravity helps pull the tire down.

Well crap! I have a similar build as your FJ (3rd gen Tacoma, fully locked, 4.88 on 35's) and I've been using your experiences on the trail as a barometer as to how far I can push the envelope in my rig. Now that your going a different direction with your rig, I'll just have to wing it! It'll be fun to watch your build and see how much more it will be able to do. However, your FJ has taken you everywhere you've asked it. Hasn't it?
@offroadhub.official3 жыл бұрын
I'll still do "difficult" trails, not just extreme ones. The FJ has taken me lots of places, but I've skipped tons of trails and obstacles that I wish I could have done. With about 90 trails in the western US under my belt, I feel like I've "done it all" with my current setup. Time to hit the stuff I've been missing!
