Man for the $400 those cost you could have both gotten a sleeping bag, fishing poles w/reels a better bait pack, fire starter, tent, flashlights w/batteries, knife, and a machete or hatchet plus probably some other things like toilet paper, bug spray, plates and silverware etc. How about a lighter? And the most helpful thing…a roll of duct tape!😂.

Agreed for the $350 USD he spent on that he could have got a lot better gear. First the bag could've been a Walmart bag from Walmart's yearly back to school sale I've seen them as cheap as $10, next a decent knife I'd recommend the Buck 119 at Walmart for $75, then you'll want a decent hatchet and I'd recommend the hatchet found on Amazon for $8, then you'll want a tent and you can get that on Amazon for $100, then you'll want a frog gigging spearhead and that will run ya $30, next an 8 qt cooking pot plus ramen noodles from Maruchan will run you about $13, then bankline I've seen as cheap as 100-150 yards for $5 at Walmart depending on the state that works just as good as paracord, then two rolls of Duck tape will run ya about $10, lastly the rest of the kit can be spent on the fishing kit which can consist of line (10-12lb test) , hooks, lures, weights, a small pliers multitool, a small nail clipper, and a small tool compartment, or a cheap rod and real combo with better line. This totals to about $350 maybe a little more or less depending on state, but all that matters is you getting a decent kit that'll help you last the night and will serve better than that garbage you saw in Ayo's kit.

On the bait....do you know about the worm trick? One stick in the ground, rub a second stick up and down on it. It vibrates the ground and any worms around 8-10 feet around usually come up to the surface. Do it 3-4 times you could end up with a feast.
