That's amazing! For 600 bucks, you've gotten yourself a decent SUV! The amount of work you did to it would convince me to buy it if you were to sell it! I'd trust you completely!!!

The more I see the Rendezvous, the more I love it. Such an honest, straightforward SUV and it is so good that you saved it and it will provide useful and reliable transportation for years to come. This to me is environmentally sound, not stupid EVs and earth killing battery mining. These older cars are making the most of the resources used to make them in the first place. Awesome result and love your attention to detail and thoroughness. Great video as always dude!

Hi Al from the UK. Great video. What i like about all of your videos is that your a good down to earth guy, who is just doing his own thing himself. Ive done all of this work for a living over here for 40 yrs, & i know all too well how much work salvage vehicles can be. So its good to see you have success. Flooders were always my favourite to repair. The salvage repair game here in the UK is now not worth the time of day. The salvage prices are at an all time high, & used parts are so difficult & expensive to source. All local scrap yards have gone, there is only the big guys left who charge the earth for there parts. Keep up the good work young man.

Al you freaking killed it !,!!! This one came out perfect!!!! . And yes those clusters had all sort of issues . However you might want to check the under hood fuse box and the plug on the alternator for the green crusty . That charge light could be a result of the BCM getting wet . Great job al you did great !!

This one cleaned up nicely. These are generally roached out, typical GM interiors, everything falls apart with age, sadly. I'd drive it, and not be afraid to, since you fixed it up. Thanks for the content, Al.

Came out nice, good job. With all these flood cars, you REALLY need to get an ozone generator. They kill mold and mildew along with permanently removing cigarette odors. No matter how hard you try, there is always going to be mold and mildew remaining you either can't see or get to. They are reasonably priced on Amazon and should be used in everyone of these flood cars. I'm sure you don't want to get sick or be responsible for someone else getting ill.

good job there Al! one of my first vehicles I got from copart was one of those and it was rough. I won it for $200 back then and drove it to work for about a year. It had the typical family ride filth in it. all the seats were stained, carpet was riddled with fast food crumbs, yeah it was nasty.

@alexp6016
@alexp6016 Жыл бұрын
I’ve never understood why either. The Rendezvous is WAY worse. I think it’s one of the most hideous vehicles ever created. It’s in close competition with the original Chrysler Pacifica.
@williamegler8771
@williamegler8771 Жыл бұрын
Neither vehicle is particularly attractive but to a majority of potential buyers the Aztek was the more hideous of the two. I remember when the Rendezvous was introduced my local dealer had only a demo vehicle on the lot and everyone he got was per sold or special order. Across the street was the Pontiac dealer and they had a whole row of Aztek's gathering dust and at their end of the model year close out sale the numerous ones leftover were advertised at up to 30% off MSRP. People vote was a checkbook and they obviously preferred the Buick.
@alexp6016
@alexp6016 Жыл бұрын
@@williamegler8771 that’s really surprising. I never got the hate for the Aztek. It’s not a particularly good looking vehicle, but nowhere near as hideous as the Rendezvous in my opinion.
