I actually had your album "Seasons of the Soul" and listened to you in my teens when I got saved. Awesome...that you guys have been married so long! A great testimony that it can work if we don't give up!

I LOVED their albums, "The Builder" and "Mainstream." Michael has always been one of my most favorite music producers, particularly in the Gospel and Christian music genres.

Check out Michael Omartian's sublime piano accompaniment on one of Steely Dan's most under-appreciated songs, "Any World (That I'm Welcome To)," from 1975's "Katy Lied" album. The song also features Michael McDonald's soaring voice in the chorus, and the dynamic drumming of The Wrecking Crew legend, Hal Blaine.

I had their earlier albums and then recently discovered "The Race" album - the Song ,"Heartbreak City" is such a masterpiece but it seems almost unknown. Honestly, its on the same level as the greatest power rock songs of the 80s - Anyone reading this, if you have a heart for the lost in our cities listen to it - it is on KZbin - it deserves a new and wide audience - the production is phenomenal, the message will bring tears to your eyes and the beat will drive it into your memory.

I'm reading Stormie's Choose Love currently. She says things in a way that you remember. As for Michael, to choose one: White Horse, with Seasons running a close second😉😎

These two shaped my musical tastes immensely when I was a child. The Imperials’ Eagle Song (Michael Omartian produced) is one of my all time favorite songs…2nd to none production work.

I know, but these singers and songwriters live and lived really immoral lives. I wonder how they lived with that?
