Jay, I always appreciate your straight forward input. Thanks for the video. I am trying to choose which of these bikes to buy. There are many SXF available on CL for a good price - very few XCF. I'm 100% enduro, GP, trails, so the choice should be XCF for me.

Hi Jay have you used GET ECUs too? I was just about to go Vortex but went the other way due to more maintenance and adjustment options.

I think the vortex a bit better long term so far and better tune ability from engine builders

Hey jay, I have the 19 350 xcf. Have you had any issues with the cam chain tensioner on any of your 4 strokes, I bought the dirt tricks for mine because it doesn't work about half the time, but I only have 12hrs but dirt tricks says not to change it until 20hrs on the motor. Your opinion is gold... thanks

Couple questions..you had the suspension done so worked well after on bigger jumps? You can remove the kickstand? Can the gas tank be replaced with something more Moto x looking?

Yes and yes can remove stand-- yes you can use a SXF tank

Not a easy answer. But I prefer a 250 on the track etc. however I want to modify them to make faster. So for this reason I think a 350 is best for most guys. A 450 too much.

I am coming from a yz250 Woods bike, looking at the 450 xcf or the 350 xcf-w. I mainly ride East Coast Woods and I go to Durhamtown. which of the two 4 strokes mentioned would be a better choice?

But doesn’t the 350 xcf have less horsepower than 350 sxf like 10-15 less ? I haven’t rode in 20 years and am want to get back into it again (I’m 60) will be riding some trail and some track washougal mx and Albany sx (outdoor track) last bike was a 98 kx 250 having no luck in finding a 2021 sxf. Have also considered getting a 350 Husqvarna fc or fx Anyway love your videos keep up the great work.

No the power is the same The EXC is way down on power compared. Email any further questions

@@dirtbiketv1 that’s good I was getting confused because I was seeing that sxf had 58 hp and the xcf had like 39 hp. Which discouraged me a little because I kind of want the XCf since I’ll be riding track and trail I even been looking at the Husqvarna‘s

Hey, Jay, I think the gearing you've listed for 1st, 3rd, and 4th on the SX-F aren't correct...my calculator says they should be 1.75, 1.611, and 1.381. That seems like a huge space between 4th and 5th, so maybe the ratios listed for those gears aren't correct.
