Hi. Good video. I have has the same gauge installed into my ‘13 Hyundai SFS 2.0t for about two years now. At first I had it wired into one of the empty 12v slots at the fuse box... pretty much same as you have. Worked fine for the first two days and on the third day I fried the sensor. 14 months in I went through 5 wideband sensors. Was lost and couldn’t figure out why the hell I was frying sensors. (Tried multiple brands also) anyway. After reading so many forums I came across a guy saying that innovate mxtl gauge is very very finicky for voltage. So I ordered a fog light harness, with its own capacitor. Modified it a little , and trimmed it up. I wired it up to the battery with a fuse. Been about 9 months now and I haven’t had one single issue. Been accurate and working fine.

Hi Z-Speed I have a question where you placed your innovative o2 sensor. Could I do the same while running stock catalytic converters ? And would it give me an accurate reading ? Thank you
@Zspeed
@Zspeed 3 жыл бұрын
You can run the 02 sensor in the Y-pipe, but it will give you a more lean air/fuel reading! Call innovate and ask them where they would recommend you place the 02 sensor. If you change out your catalytic converters to high flow cat's, your air/fuel reading should be a little more accurate!

@Zspeed
@Zspeed 3 жыл бұрын
E2 is a heater error.... most likely, you may have a bad ground wire. Double check your wiring. I wired my ground to the battery! Hope this helps and thanks for watching. 1. Damaged sensor cable or sensor. 2. Sensor connector not fully seated and locked into position. 1. Verify that all sensor connectors are fully seated and locked into position. 2. Replace sensor 3. Replace sensor cable

really good watch but for future videos i would cut down on the level of detail. While detail is essential in a video most everyone already knows about uprev and this small bits and pieces(2003 to early 2004 350zs are refered to as the VQ35DE). You might also find that you would get more viewers if the video is shorter. Other than that great vid!

I think his video is exactly the way it needed to be.. some people are just starting out on this platform, the details he gives are very useful 👌.. for instance I didn't know that these yr models 03-04 didn't have afr in the system that you needed to get ur own setup.. I think for someone looking to tackle this project he gave 1 of the best how to videos I mean this isn't a ten min project so the long video is warranted..

Think you missed some of the instructions...my gauge says if your not using the white wire for dimming, then hook it to ground....to calibrate you first turn on the power without the sensor plugged in, wait for E2 error code, wait 30 seconds then power off, plug in sensor in free air(not installed in pipe, power on get hrt code will change to cal code wait 60 seconds, power off install sensor AND you installed sensor at 90 degrees, it needs to be at least at a 10 degree angle upward so water wont wreck sensor. other wise good vid
