The bottle threads! That's the word you were looking for. 😂 If anyone is interested the glue brush is the mod-podge brand. It's a great brush for glue! The spray bottles are sold at Dollar Tree. (Or the 5 quarter store according to my daughter) 🤣 😂 🤣 😂 😁

Oops 😬 that would be my mold. 😅 I thought it funny. 😂 I kept trying to remove the glitter thinking great I haven't used it yet and I have glitter in it already. I was looking at my clothes thinking I needed to tape my shirt because of the glitter. 😂 When I worked at Oregon Craft & Floral I could never get rid of the glitter. And now I have glitter everywhere again. 😂

Cool idea. I have done plastic water bottles for my grandkids. The worst bit is finding something to keep them sturdy on the turner but kids loved them.

I’m new to resin and never tried doing a tumbler. You mentioned putting on the PU sealer to make the resin fill in the divots, but I didn’t see you put resin on afterwards. Was it the same resin as the initial coat, and just one layer or multiple layers?

Yes same resin for the whole project. It took 4 coats total, two before the tape and two after.

It’s really not much glitter, it’s a small bottle. It’s easier to work with a flat level surface than trying to maneuver that technique around fabric.

Thanks for sharing this video. I have been wanting to do something like this on a tumbler. So now can do it cheaper. I have a question. When you rub off the glitter. Can you reuse that glitter that you rub off or do you just throw it away? Also where did you find that spray bottle at?

I throw it away because it has glue residue on it. Some people keep it, it’s just personal preference 👍

Two questions: are your tumblers dishwasher safe or should they be hand wash only? Also, the sealer you put on right before you put the resin on to prevent fish eyes etc… do you think that would help folks with their art work / acrylic paintings on canvases if they would coat their canvases with that prior to the resin? Love the spray bottle by the way! So cute! ❤️🐾 I think it would be a cute idea to make a hairdresser one of those but of course a different pattern.. say something with scissors on it or something like that 😉 Thanks for sharing with us! 🩵💜

They are not dishwasher safe, which is what my bottom sticker say with the care instructions for customers. Dishwashers get too hot and will ruin the resin. As far as the sealer, I’m not sure I’ve never worked with canvas before to have the correct answer. I’d hate for you to ruin something because of me 🥴

@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 that makes sense… I think I’ll try the sealer on a small little canvas that I don’t care too much about. This would be awesome to help with those fish eyes. Actually I’ll make 2 of the same. Then do the sealer on one and one without. Resin them both then see the difference.. 😉 We all learn together right ❤️
