I just saw a quick blurb about this on another video a few months ago. If I remember correctly he was filming an ad for some fitness thing he had going on and he was running down the CENTER of the tracks in a train yard. Because of the noise of other trains around the general area he didn't hear the train that was quickly coming up on him from behind. I don't think he ever heard the warning whistles and the conductor was unable to get the train stopped. Among other things, he left behind one undoubtedly traumatized conductor...

For more than 50 years now, glass shower doors are made to break into small pieces. No big shards to slice through veins or arteries. It's called safety glass and is similar to glass in cars, but without the strong adhesive. This video makes me wonder how many of these accidents involved alcohol.

I'm guessing the wrong type of glass (less expensive) was used in these lethal shower doors? It's difficult to even get a bad finger cut from safety glass nuggets. Large panes of glass are very expensive, so perhaps there was some cost-cutting going on by installers, or home owners wanting to save some moolah. Bad idea.

Even a one foot fall...or falling out of bed can be very bad! I never did fall off a ladder thank goodness! And that's 40 hours a week for 25 years. But on day... in a big rush to leave the job and in my new shoes... I did fall down the last 3 stairs because there was THE HANDRAIL was not installed yet. Tore my rotator cuff. SO that's why every time I leave my house and walk down those 18 cement and steel stairs, I remember NOT TO FALL EVER!! And when the elderly fall...they are more likely to fall a second and third time, caused by a pie chart of medical factors. Sorry I talk too much. I knew the first man, Tony Knight personally...really nice man. I will never look at trees the same way again. With all the dry weather we have been having here in the American North East...when it rains after 2 months, the soil loosens and the shrunken roots can't grip and give way.... trees just fall!!

From what I understood about the Denver accident, hard right rudder sent the airplane into a spin not pitch up, as is what one would expect. Not enough altitude to recover if memory serves me right. He was offered a refuel before the flight which would have avoided the whole situation entirely. Rest easy John Denver xx

Ok, it's easy. Don't use pesticides. Don't fall on tables, or sinks, or doors, or take showers, or baths, definitely not around electrical items, or shower doors. Definitely don't race trains, use guns or use gas ovens, or use fire in any form. Don't go barefoot, especially around electrical equipment. Forget skiing, flying airplanes, playing electric guitars, especially ungrounded, or using ladders. Definitely don't drink if you are going to do any of the above. Why can't people learn simple rules?

My cousin worked for Georgia Power. He was supervising a tree removal job. A big limb fell bounced off the ground jumped back in the air and stabbed him in the heart. Before he died he said, I think that I am hurt bad. He fell to his knees and it was over.

Any camping video will tell you to never pitch your tent or build a shelter under or near the trees as they are known as widow makers. Dead branches are constantly falling from the trees and many campers have been killed this way. You were one of the lucky ones.

Dick ST John didn’t actually die by “ladder”, he may have fallen from the ladder , but it was the sudden impact with the ground that actually killed him, not the ladder. 🤷‍♂️

Glad my wife got rid of our glass shower door. I actually fell in the shower and fell through the glass door shattering it completely. I wasn't hurt thank God. We just finished repairs on my house we tiled up on the bathrooms and didn't go back with glass shower doors
