Do you mean the rings from flattening the grey? They just sand out with 180grit sandpaper

Was it difficult to set up the Toolpath to carve Resin? or was it just like wood with a different plunge rate?

Not difficult at all. I use exclusively Amana tooling. They publish all their feeds and speeds and I leave them the same for wood and epoxy. The epoxy cuts just fine. You CAN have some variation in how nice the epoxy cuts depending on the brand of epoxy, just fyi

what software is controlling the machine? Is it custom? it doesn't look like mach or linuxcnc

It is called UCCNC. It's specific to Steocraft machines. Although, I am sure someone, somewhere has been able to use uccnc with other cnc machines.

what's your choice of bits? VCarve angle, endmill radius, flattening? I'm guessing 45 degrees, 1/4", 1.5"

I typically stick with 90 deg. And 45 deg. Vbits. I will pocket with 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8", depending on size and style of logo. For flattening small areas I use a 3/8 or 1/2" and large areas I use a 1.5" flattening bit

I wonder how much experience these epoxy pour guys have. Most of the surfboard industry just laughs at there techniques. These may look good in the videos but will never last.
