Shimano tranx 200 7.2:1 with 20lb flourocarbon paired with a 7'11" heavy swimbait rod (you could also use a extra heavy crankbait rod) for the 6", 7", and 8" soft swimbaits. Shimano tranx 300 7.6:1 with 25lb straight flourocarbon paired with a extra-heavy swimbait rod for the 8" and 9" glide baits.

Thank you. I have 2 favorites for glide baits: 3:16 Work Horse Glide Tater Hog Hog Father Glide (my personal favorite) The 3:16 glides are tough to get but the tater hogs are normally in stock.

My grandson enjoys your videos! He made a swim bait he is going try at Fork when I take him next week. He wanted to know if you were fishing north or south of 515 and if you were on west side or east side of lake.

@@jeffreyplumb5619 That is great to hear! Very cool, let me know if he catches some fish on his swimbait. 90% of the time I am south of the 515 bridge on both arms. Im a big believer that the biggest fish in the lake live in close proximity to the deepest water on the lake. That is why i stay on the south end. From there I probably spend 50% on the west arm, 30% on the east arm, and dont forget Little Caney 20%! Hope that helps and hope ya'll smash them!
