Hey Frost, thanks for watching 🙂 “Favorite and favourite are both correct spellings, depending on whether you use American or British spelling standards. Favorite is preferred in American English, while favourite is preferred in British English.” So this is why I write “favourite” as I’m British, lol. Hey there thanks for watching 🙂 It looks like you’re not using template literal back ticks, since you use a template literal ( i.e. ${game} ) your console log needs to be surrounded by back ticks `My Favourite game…` as opposed to the single quotes you are using. That should do it, if not how are you using the script tags in the index.html file? Can you show me please. Thanks again for watching! 🙂👍

I'm literally typing the exact same thing but instead I'm getting parameters in the console log as the whole string, the arguments aren't being passed. the jquery is being passed as a string
