360° first flight from Hochgerach with crossing Alpila/Dünser Älpele and landing in Ried (Schnifis)

By bike to Schnifis and hike to Hochgerach. In the video view it always looks very comfortable, live it was a challenge. I lost my way, so just try the direct line (very demanding). In the end, the reward was all the nicer. A beautiful view from Lake Constance to Bludenz and the valleys. The 15 kg of equipment I was allowed to lug up on my back was a minor matter. The starting point directly below the top is very steep. Next time I'll try the meadow in the lower right area. Last but not least, after checking the harness several times, I forgot to close my helmet...

Thanks for posting this video. I'm planning a hike&fly at the same spot in the first week of Sep/2024. When was your flight (time/date)? Is the behaviour of the wind at this point similar to the Hensler take-off? I understood that Hensler is flyable mostly between 1PM to 5PM during spring and late summer... The models in Windy don't agree between themselves about the forecast in this region and I'm not willing to subscribe to Burnair to get a better prediction. As an outsider pilot I'm having some difficulty to understand the windflow. Best regards.
