@@Gatesunder It's probably possible to some degrees. 13 did change in bad ways that makes this device lose out on its range by a large amount due to lag. It might be possible to figure out instant wires that might work and new TNT compressors that are 13 based. In theory this device should work if alot of effort is put into making it 13 possible. By the looks of 14 snapshots its impossible with our current understanding though. Interest in it is low though given no tech servers play 13 and are the ones that would probably use something like this.

​@@Gatesunder The changes were because of lag optimizations, not all the devs are happy about it but its what's been done by the backend developers. Might be a while till game mechanics are added to replace it, if ever. 14 looks like its resetting all our understanding of chunk loading. It's possibly going to be a while till something definitive is found out. Full release isn't out but from what we know the game doesn't update entity's at all outside player loaded areas and all artificially loaded tech is gone.

What if you would dupe a lot of TNT in lazy chunks? Then you would only need 1 duper for it right?

@Xbox Only the void cannon works the other way around, 1 pearl in lazy chunks and duper in loaded chunks

@Xbox Only who says the tnt needs to explode at the same time? The pearl won't travel it will do nothing and keep building up velocity from the explosions, but it won't tick itself because it is in lazy chunks. And who says the chunks in between have to be loaded? The pearl will travel to the world border in 1 tick, after 24 hours of intense charging.

@Xbox Only yes the duper is at least at large as this one and it runs for 24 hours. Anyway, I am not certain this is how the machine operates though, just speculations though that have a good chance to be true.
