Yes you can purchase it at stores. They're affordable now. I was using the Samsung Gear 360.

@@JEDAINW0RLDG3MER Welcome! You probably see the 2017 version for sale. It records 360 video in 4K, has VR livestreaming via KZbin & Facebook, lighter, and works with iPhones. There's the cheaper 2016 one which shoots close to 4K, more durable & water resistant, removable battery, heavier, and no livestreaming. You can tell the difference by cyndrical shape of the 2017, and the 2016 one looks like a golf ball.
