Yes, considering the damage to 409 in the carriage and that it's due for retirement in 15 months, I have no doubt 121 will be back out and running soon. It'll go to Clacton for repairs as that's where the 360s are based.

Was there like a spark or a arc when the pantograph hit something which caused the train to stop and delaying services. Usually when that happens there is a sign of smoke.

I think the bracknell willis high speed pantograph they used on the 321s should be fitted on every train in the uk that used overhead

Yeah indeed it was there was major delays and it took over 7 hours to move 360121 from the scene since my last encounter with 321409 after the pantograph strike that’s been stored after that issue so I think 360121 May be stored as well now

Great captures mate! Why did it take so long to rescue the damaged 360 and why did it use the down?
@035Productions6 жыл бұрын
Hi mate It brought the overheads down which took some time to put back plus the line between Ipswich and manningtree was switched off while it was being inspected then they turned it on and got the Ex Hawick town 360121 to come to rescue it which also took another 70 minutes because they opened the line and let some trains go before it finally got let out at around 1030 and it had to pass platform 3 at manningtree because the pints are after the bridge so that’s why it passed platform 3
@dylansworld89046 жыл бұрын
How'd it happen
@generalgrievous56154 жыл бұрын
Why is it rare if it passed platform 3? Its on the mainline so wouldn't be rare
